Our Story

We've loved every minute of the journey

An Idea Is Born

It was 2013 when Lakecha was advised of her gift by a couple of young ladies that she was ministering to. Not realizing she had a ministry, Lakecha naturally attempted to help and heal other women. "I remember as if it were yesterday, the young lady said to me "Kecha, you should really start a sister circle to empower women." She said that I was gifted and she believed that I could really help women overcome their past traumas and grow. We jokingly named the program The SEED, Sisters Encourage Each other Daily was the plan. I talked about and promoted the idea for 3 years before actually beginning to apply effort. It wasn't until 2016 that I finally had the courage to launch. The process has been challenging but well worth it in the end. We are now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization developed to help Women and children become the very best version of themselves. I am proud and forever grateful for the passion of my team, their commitment and support is what has made this whole thing possible and now we are able to help other displaced individuals to evolve and accomplish all of their goals. I am a living witness that Dreams do come true. Our trials are our testimonies. We go through things so that we might get somewhere. We are committed to growth and dedicated to the success of the broken communities and We are blessed to be able to partake in such in a thing"
